Family Reunion

Since our first family reunion in 1987 in Chicago, IL, we have been meeting as a family on a biannual basis to share our lives, solidify our base and explore our roots. After Chicago, we gathered again in Trenton, NJ (1989), Toledo, OH (1991), Jackson, MS (1993), Indianapolis, IN (1995), San Diego, CA (1997), Richmond, VA (1999), Detroit, MI (2001), back to Chicago (2003), Columbus, OH (2005) and Sacramento, CA (2007). The 2009 reunion, our 12th coming together, was held in Memphis, TN.

All Hands on Deck

Now, we look forward to the 2011 reunion, which offers the opportunity to make this future gathering of the Johnson-Moody-Crenshaw Family the most unique experience yet. It's your choice. Planning has begun to take our family on board for its first-ever cruise sometime around the third week of July 2011. The cruise would be all-inclusive (lodging, food, liquor and fun activities aboard the ship).

Your participation in the cruise planning is crucial. If we do not get enough family participation for the cruise, the JMC families of Muncie IN, have offered to host the 2011 family reunion in Indianapolis IN.

We must get at least a total of 45 to 50 family members to book and pay three-quarters or 100 percent of their costs for this cruise by the deadline date of February/March 2011. If we don't, any additional amenities that are being negotiated will be forfeited. Three cruise options are being offered. To help you decide and submit your preference as soon as possible, a special reunion cruise section of this Web site has been posted. Go to it often for updates, cruise details, tips for budgeting and saving.
